Classic resizing just makes each pixel bigger, so the result gets blurrier. This app uses two neural networks, Real-ESRGAN and waifu2x, trained on real-world compression artefacts, to turn JPEG blocks and soft edges back into continuous texture.
Line art and photographs need very different models. Anime mode keeps lines crisp and removes noise; photo mode rebuilds texture. Each mode offers further model choices, and the default is the right pick most of the time.
All processing happens on your local GPU and never touches a server. Private photos, unreleased artwork and company material are safe. Upscaling works offline too.
Drag several images into the window and they are processed one after another, each with visible progress and status. Results are saved with an _HD suffix, originals are untouched, and you can choose the output folder.

One licence activates one device, Mac or Windows. If you change computers, email us the address you paid with and we will release the old device so you can activate the new one.
2x, 3x and 4x are supported. AI reconstructs plausible detail; it cannot recover information that was never there. The more detail the original has, the better the result. If the source is too blurry to make out, the output will be a sharp version of that blur.
No. All processing happens on your own computer. The app only goes online to verify your licence, and no image data is ever sent. An activated copy keeps working offline.
JPG, PNG and WEBP. The output uses the same format as the input, saved with _HD added to the filename, so your original is never overwritten.
